Land of the Rising Sun Part 2 : First Time in Japan

As mentioned in Part 1, I depart for Narita on 04/11/11..So I safely landed at Terminal 2 on 05/11/11 around 07:30am (GMT +09:00)..

This time, I will stay at my cousin's house since she is studying here. My bad, I forgot to write down my cousin's address therefore I had difficulty in fill in the Disembarkation Card but the address is in my FB Inbox. The staff there insisted for me to fill in that before Q'ing..Thus what I did is straight away Turn On WiFi in my Galaxy Tab and luckily there were WiFi available BUT u have to pay for it! To be used in just Narita, for 24hours, I have to paid ¥500 using my credit card and voila!
(But please dont forget to call upon your Credit Card Provider to open the access first,provided yours is not open yet.As I know, Maybank Ikhwan, RHB Travel Money&Visa already open the access but for Bank Islam MC&Visa,I called them to open the access before take off)

After clearing the customs, I went straight away to SoftBank counter, just outside the Arrival Hall.Since my Nokia N8 is supporting 3g, thus I just rent the 3g sim card for ¥105/day. Mind you,they will pre-charge your credit card ¥40,000 for security which later will be released back. I got back my ¥40,000 nearly after 2weeks.

After got the sim card I called my husband straight away to inform him that I have safely arrived and we agreed to meet up at Tokyo Station. At that time he was in Shinjuku, all the way from Nagoya using Night Highway bus by Willer Express.

I went to JR Counter to buy Suica and N'EX for me and Suica Card for my husband.N'EX stands for Narita Express, a train that provides access from Narita Airport to Major Urban Stations.If u are from Haneda Airport, then Suica and Monorail will be suitable.

To be eligible for Suica & N'EX, u must hold foreign passport. It is BEST if you bought the Round Pass but since the N'EX is only valid for 2weeks time so I have to choose the one-way pass instead for the price of ¥3,500 and the other Suica for ¥2,000. Dont forget to use the N'EX first from Narita to any JR East station in the Designated Tokyo Train Interval, the yellow area on the map.

Since the N'EX is reserved seat, therefore make sure u board on the right train on the right time, as stated in the N'EX Ticket

Along the way I called my Mom and told her I was safe and ask her to Pray so that Allah grant me to bring my Parents here someday.. InsyaAllah...

And after 53 minutes, I have arrived @ Tokyo Station..Alhamdulillah & Yiehaaaa!!

After having where-are-you;I-am-here-but-I-cant-see-you moments, finally I met my Husband!!

Before heading to the Hotel, we went to JR East Information Center to buy Universal Studio Japan Tickets. Price for 1-Day for 1 Adult is ¥6,200. We bought them early since we will be going on weekends and people know how crowds are on weekends!

I am gonna stop here since it is already too long..I'm tired..

Land of the Rising Sun Part 1

I keep mentioning there are 4 (actually there are 2 that I combine as 1) wishes I have in this life..And Allah gives what we want in so many ways..sooner or later..
And now, one of them is fulfilled!! Thus I was left with 1 more ;)

My second wish is 'To visit Korea and Japan before I die'.

I have visited Korea twice, in 2008 and 2010 which are still not enuff!
This time, Allah grant me Rezeki to visit Japan, The Land of The Rising Sun where Korea is the Land of Morning Calm..so soothing right their names?

And the journey to Japan start when my hubby (as usual,the 1 who made my dreams came true) was assigned for training in Japan for nearly 6 months and a half. Before that he already went there for 1 week, just after the Eid Fitr 2011, where Hari Raya is not as happy as it shud be since we are busy preparing everything he needs..no need to say the rushing hours back then.

To cut it short, here I am! JAPAN!!!
I dunno whether it is coincidence or I am that lucky since that in 2010, it was Korea Visiting Year and in 2011,it is Visit Japan Year..so Yokosa Japan!!

I start with the take off story..
I prefer to fly with the Country's Official Airways like I did with Korean Air before but Japanese Airlines (JAL) was so expensive! (even tho it was only RM500 extra from previous flight with Korean Air) thus I opt for MAS.Never offer me Air Asia,be it cheap or what so ever!with previous experience traveling with Air Asia before, I dun think I want to spend my money on them anymore.

I spend months looking for competitive airfare but at last I chose MAS for a fare of RM2100++ including AirInsure.But I was a lil bit regret to be informed that Air Nippon Airways (ANA) just make a promotion slightly after I purchased MAS,just to make me sad by paying extra RM300 ;) But since ANA is transit at Changi Airport, so I think still MAS is better..since I am traveling alone.

And some more, the food served is HALAL...

I depart on 4 November 2011 at 23:35 and I can say that Departure Hall for Narita is better than the others..

I sat at the window with a Japanese man at aisle. He looked very the Japanese, by sitting-sleeping so straight..where as me tersengguk sana sini..luckily they provide blanket..and some more, there are Entertainment!!

I watched some movies during the flight but I didnt finished any since I was bored..I watched comedies and giggles to funny part, where as the Japanese man watched really serious movie! he must be very unpleased to hear my giggles ;)

Owh, there you go,long story..

I woke up around 5am and just right for the Breakfast Time.."Omelette or Nasi Lemak?" ofkosla I chose Nasi Lemak but I regret later..x sedap!! the Japanese man took omelette and I envy him..

Kalaulah dia anakku...

Entry kali ni sangatlah sedih bg aku.air mata mengalir xhenti2 sepanjang jalan blk umah dr opis td,tersedu-sedan dan endingnye,smpi umah muka dh bengkak sbb nangis. .
Sungguh2 aku sedih ngn kisah sorg budak 3 thn yg diseret van sejauh 100meter waktu blk Taska,akibat kecuaian driver van yg xprasan budak ni terseret since tali beg dia tersangkut kt van.

Luka di kepala kesan seret smpi nmpk tempurung kepala,luka di perut,namun bukan apa2 pd aku... Tp ble memikirkan jari kiri hancur akibat seretan tu,dan doktor sahkan cacat kekal,aku sungguh2 sedih.trauma yg ditanggung.xsiapa akan mengerti... Dan dia hanyalah kanak2 berusia 3 thn!!

Sepanjang drive blk umah aku trbayang2 scene tu.seolah2 nmpk depan mata.dengar raungan Haziq tu,nmpk keberanian jiran dia tahan van dr trus menyeret budak tu dan seolah2 aku nmpk mcmana nenek 70thn tu hmpir pengsan tgk cucu dia diseret.

Siapa Haziq ni pada aku?smpi begitu terkesan sekali kisah dia pada aku.sedangkan ari2 ade brita buang bayi,kanak2 kene dera,tp xde yg begitu menyentuh hati aku...merayu2 aku pada Allah moga selamatkan dia.asanye inilah doa pertama aku utk org yg aku xpenah kenal tp aku harap doa ni smpi.

Harapan aku agar parents/guardians aware hal2 mcm ni.cariklah van/bus yg sediakan pembantu,at least ade org tlg bukak pintu,pastikan anak korang selamat turun van/bus b4 gerak.aku paham malang memang xberbau,tp harap kita blh ambik pre cautions.

Untuk Haziq kutitipkan doa agar diberi kekuatan oleh Allah menghadapi hari2 mendatang...

Untuk ibu Haziq,tabahlah menerima ujian ini.anda pasti seorg yg sgt tabah kerana diuji sebegini rupa. . Jikalau saya adalah anda,hnya Tuhan shj yg tau derita di hati...

Untuk jiran yg sanggup gadaikan nyawa demi menghentikan van trsebut,semoga Allah membalas dgn sesuatu yg lebih-lebih baik...

Semoga Allah melindungi kita semua...

Teratak Sri Cendana

Semalam (setelah 6 bln), daku g mengurut kt Bangi.
Dh lama nk pg tp xpg2. Last pg ngurut kt Samsara Swiss Garden ngn Mas aritu. slalunya pg spa ni,tahan 3-4 bulan br rasa lenguh2 blk, tp kali ni lps g Samsara seminggu je,badan dh rasa x syiok..jadi mcm besa,akan mengomel2 kt Mr Hubby ttg hasrat nk g spa,and mcm biasa, Mr Hubby akan ckp "pegilaa"... & mcm besa gk,xde nya aku nk g..

Tp Slasa aritu mmg dh rase burnt out,so mcm besa mntk tlg ngn Mr Google utk cr kt mana tpt urut best kt KL ni..byk result nyer spa2 di hotel tp kali ni daku rasa nk g ngurut tradisional,bkn scrub2 segala bagai nih!

Tetiba tringt,daku ade saved 1 no hp tukang urut yg daku nmpk iklannya masa g An Nur hujung thn aritu (sbb tu daku mention "setelah 6 bln" kt atas tu).jadi daku pon meng'sms' la beliau n booking utk ngurut ari rabu yakni semalam hihi

At first mmg cuak,sbb xtahu ni tpt ape kan,takut2 jadi benda x elok so daku pn mntk la Mr Hubby utk temankan and dia setuju ;)

Lps je tamat WP2,dgn pantasnya daku drive ke situ.janji kul 6 tp daku smpi 6.10,sebabnya daku salah msuk simpang hihi terlajak smpi skolah Jalan Tiga ;)

Tukang urut ni ade 2 org,sorang owner dia Puan Hani and sorg lg adik beliau,Puan Hifzan (Hifzan ni la yg dok meng'reply' sms2 ku).

Masa tgh2 urut tu daku mentionla daku mntk mahap sbb bersangka buruk pada mulanya tp Puan Hani sgt sporting,dia ckp berhati2 tu perlu,takut2 jadik benda x elok..hihi

Smbil2 ngurut,smbil2 sembang..end up abes gk treatment daku,setelah sejam setengah..

Daku mmg puas hati la ngn servis mereka ni,sbb as if comfort @ ur own house.
And Teratak Sri Cendana ni pun ade servis mandi lulur,facial dsb. Yg plg best dia ade gk servis urut utk lelaki (husband Puan Hani la yg urut,jgn salah faham plk!)..so daku pon dh meng'promote' kt Mr Hubby and mcm biasa gk,Mr Hubby sentiasa skeptikal ngn perkara2 yg dia xbiasa (tp end up dia pasti akan puas ati gk! Hehe)

Kalaulah Saya Belum Kawen & Awak Bkn Isteri Orang...

Huhu, agak2 kontroversi x tajuk atas tu? Kalo korang (ramai ker yg bace nih?!), ape korang rasa?
Bukan hape, hanya teringat kata2 yg pernah saya dengar..

Tapi itu bukan main point N3 kali ni.N3 kali ni purposely nk melegakan hati yg tgh runsing, yg btol2 rasa nk nangis..sebak dari semalam, seolah2 ade sumting yg xkena...

Baru2 ni diri ku ini telah ter'fall' in love ngn Mr Kang..sangatlah suke kt dia ni,bukannya hensem sgt pon tp bak kata CC Kewangan daku, "body dia tu,fuhhhh!"

Alkisahnya, dia ni plan nk balas dendam kt diriku ini but end up terjatuh cinta plk ngn kebaikan hati pompuan ni..akulah perempuan itu (prasan jap)..

Nk relate nye kisah ni ngn tajuk kt atas tu,sbb daku ni milik abang dia,jd kenkunun ni cinta terlarang la pada pandangan masyarakat (tetiba skema).

Ku sangka panas hingga ke petang ropa-ropanya salji di tengah malam,syahdu abes! Aku penah tgk org separuh mati sebab ditinggalkan kekasih tp sungguh2 aku xpenah tgk org mati kerana cinta,tp daku ni mmg JIWA KACAU sbb terpaksa pura2 dh lupakan Mr Kang padahal masih mencintai dia sepenuh ati..

Namun, demi cinta apa saja org sanggup buat, so end up cerita ni,matilah sang wanita ni dalam pelukan Mr Kang dengan dibaluti salji..

Aik,pesal plk aku blh tulih N3 ni lg kalo daku dh mati bersama Mr Kang? Hoh! Kalo nk mati kt Mesia ni dibaluti salji,asenya ade 2 tpt je kot,Genting @ iCity..hmmm

Nmpknya daku bukanlah perempuan itu kerna pompuan tu bukan aku ayat berulang ye kawan2 tp si Shin Min Ah a.k.a Cha Eun Suk. Mr Kang yg macho tu plk si Rain bermata sepet tu ha huk3

Ni la penangan A Love To Kill,sungguh2 aku sebak smpi arini masih ase nk nangis ;(

Br plan nk wat hatrik p Korea kali ketiganya,tp sbb crite yg sad ending tu,daku tlh berkata pada Mr Hubby, "xmo dh p Korea!!"

Tp saja la nk maklumkan kt korang,daku ade CD Snow Queen yg daku nk tgk ptgni,jd kalo crite ni happy ending,daku cancel arr kes xmo p Korea lg tu hik3

Apapon sgtla thank you to Mr Kang eh salah, Mr Hubby sbb sgt memahami kecintaanku pada Korea,Korean, Rain oppsss! Wpon daku slalu feeling2 tgk CD & xkisah dia nk blk kul brape in fact ok jer kalo dia byk keje kt opis huk3, Mr Hubby sgtla bertolak ansur, in fact slalu tanye "xnak beli CD Korea?" evritime masuk Speedy.Thank u very much!!

What is OR?

During my 1st degree, I learnt about this Subject uninterestingly & forcely hihi
If i'm not mistaken the lecturer at that time was umm.. Oh, I 4got already

Now, after 3 years serving the Government, I made up my mind (really ah?)

Those who know me, read my blog, know that I have some dreams before I die..and 1 of them is to get my PhD. before 40. Thus I know somehow I have to fight for the Government Grant to further my study..and mind you, the competitions are tough..sigh

I love Mathematics so much neither I can ignore my role in improving the Public Service (too much arr?), therefore I know I have to further in OR..

What I'm trying to do research about, hihi just wait and see..and not to forget, pray for me so the Rezki is always with me...

Alhamdulillah I got a chance to visit Korea again and wut is the most exhilarating is that my hubby has booked a pension near Nami Island..Nami is where the famous Winter Sonata was filmed..

Sonata 2008

One of my lifetime dreams is to visit Korea before I die, since from I can remember, from Standard 2, I already love Korea so much..and God gives wut we wish in so many ways..I never imagined I will been here thru marrying sum1 employed by Korean company..but life is always like it is..Unpredictable..

And sumhow this is my very 1st time flying and I'm all alone..but as I was always been since I'm kid, travel alone is InsyaAllah never a problem to me.I've been taught to be Very Independent since I'm toddlers..

Landed on The Land of Morning Calm was very calming..like I always said to my hubby," You'll never know how it feels to be in Korea even hundreds of times since it was not your dream".

And I even don't care to be here every year hihi

Kisah Daging Salai...

Arini mcm juga hari2 Ahad yg biasa ku lalui, xlengkap rutin hujung minggu kalo x tgk JJCM ngn Melodi..
Dis week JJCM dh tuka pengacara,Qi a.k.a Blogger Boy a.k.a Destinasi Bajet a.k.a Bofren Yuna..huhu but he's kewl
Selama ni ade gk tringin nk pg try tpt mkn yg diorg suggest tp hajat tu xpenah kesampaian..Namun hari ni segalanya berubah..
Dgn menggunakan Google Maps, maka pencarian pon bermula..
Destinasi harini,Hot Pot Cafe Damansara Damai..mengikut Google Maps, jaraknya hanya 33km dari rumah namun perlu melalui Loke Yew, Kuching, Kepong etc..Mmg leceh larr
Setibanya di sana, agak kecewa sbb full house namun waitress kt situ sudi clearkan 1 table plg dekat ngn dapur ( dapur kt sini open,mmg customers blh nmpk owner dia masak ), so we manage to get 1 table and mind u since cafe ni berdekorasi peralatan muzik n pictures ttg muzik maka tidaklah pelik kalo kukhabarkan hubby ku duduk atas kerusi organ dan di belakangnya ade akuarium kecik ngn ikan2 yg aku xpasti apekah jenisnyer..
Disebabkan Qi dh ckp signature sini daging salai masak cili padi maka pastilah itu yg kami pesan + mixed vege + telur dadar + honey lemon tea + apple crumble.. Actually order ubi kayu tp since dh abes we changed to Bruschetta....
After waiting for nearly 1/2 hour maka Bruschetta pon tiba,xsmpi sekelip mata,ia pon abes..maklumla kami blum bfast apatah lg lunch..pastilah jam 7.40pm dh cukup melaparkan..
Then tunggu2 punye tunggu main course xsmpi2 lg...sebab waitress salah ambil daging salai kami n bg pd customer yg br smpi..mmg agak hangin tp aku sabar lg..
Honey lemonku dh tinggal separuh la tapi..
Disebabkan duduk sebelah dapur maka dptlah kami saksikan pelbagai aksi lucu n tah hape2 staf kt situ.
Makanan kt situ mmg sedap tp pd aku kuantiti daging tu sikit sgtla..mmg hubby ku xkenyang ( otw back home we r thinking to grab some more food even!)
Lastly i waited for my apple crumble to arrive..tp dgn sedihnye terpaksa tukar ke banana crumble setelah sejam dr time order sbb waitress br cakap apple crumble dh abes huk3
Sambil mkn hubby cakap nk order lg 1 banana crumble ni n i said,tolongla jgn..kang kite end-up blk kul 10 plk sbb nk tunggu 1-1 order sgtlah lmbt..
And the story x abes kt situ..time kitorg nk byr RM34.80, dtg sorang mamat ckp kt owner dia "Kak, x nak meniaga ker? Dh lama tunggu tp xde sorg pon ambik order!"
We r shocked tp kitorg trus blah pas byr..n we saw mamat td tu dh smpi kt kereta dia a.k.a dia xjadik makan kt situ..huhu
Makanan kt situ memang sedap but if it keeps u waiting sgt lama, customers will end up fed up..
A lot have to be done to improve the service..makanan sedap saja wont keep ur customers happy n come back...Like us, we travel that far utk rasa makanan n servis kt situ..As my hubby said "I xnak spoilkan mood u,tp pd I mmg servis sini ...( pls fill in the blanks)"
After all, it is just my RM34.80 cents....

I Welcome the 2011 with lots of Hope & Love

It's kinda late already to welcome the year 2011..but let it be..I'm just one of the bunch of people that luv last minutes heheh..
Play back the 2010 memory disc this Q pop-up in my mind, " I dun hev 2010 resolutions right? "
Haha is it no new resolution or I've forgotten it (them maybe?)?
So, as far as I am concern, this year gonna be a great year ahead so lets voice out wut's my new year 2011 resolutions...

First and foremost, of course it is not gonna be To Make A Lot of Money (mind u,I'm a GOM! Okay'ce!)!
Thus after looking back, uh,it's gonna be Say-NO-to-Caffeine..yeah! And I'm proud to say that, to date, I've been free..what a tough decison actually. Having been on caffeine at least once a day made my body got shocked! I even got flu,coughing and fever for at least 5 consecutive days..to adapt with no-caffeine-day really tough on me..poor Schenna hukhukhuk
But at least I'm proud of myself..Congratulations Schenna..

Then we come to my 2nd resolution (at this point of time I dunno yet!)
Actually I wish I can be a better wife, better daughter, better daughter-in-law, better sister, better GOM officer (although I believe I am), better fren..
At some point in my daily life, I know I was bad at these..It was terrible to know that my fren's mom passed away and her house was burnt in fire..and i've just known yesterday that it happened in 2009!!! How bad I am...she is the only fren that came to my wedding in Kedah and how come I can do this to her..thus I wish I can be a better, whutever I am to u...if I ever forget u due to my-so-busy-days, please do forgive me..

For my third resolution, I have no idea yet ahaks! People say it is not quantity that matters but the quality..
So why dun just make 2 new resolutions but at the end of the year I can proudly say that I achieved all!
But I know the 2nd one is quite tough.. I always say, it is quite impossible to satisfy all people, but at least we can try right?
So lets wish for the BEST for this 2011 and pray that Allah will guide us all the way...
